Danita has been a part of the BOOST team since 2023. Her experience is wide-ranging and spans several decades. Danita is a former Jr. Olympic and collegiate gymnast. She taught K-8th grade PE and adaptive physical education in both private and public schools as well as coached high school gymnastics. As a USA Gymnastics pro member since 1981, she has coached recreational, Junior Olympic artistic gymnastics, trampoline and power tumbling (T&T). Over the years she has also coached Elite and International Elite T&T athletes who placed in multiple World Age Group Championships and Pan American Championships with athletes moving on to become highly successful national team members. She has also held director, upper-level management and ownership positions in the youth sports and activity center industry. Danita is parent of a former gymnast whom she coached to numerous Jr. Olympic national championship titles and placements. She is passionate about providing rewarding and positive learning experiences to children.
Fun Fact: Danita loves traveling and exploring historic sites. She has visited numerous ancient tombs and temples in Egypt!
Braden joined the BOOST staff in 2020 and has worked with all manner of students, from campers to competitive Team gymnasts. He began teaching himself gymnastics and tumbling while at the University of Tennessee in the Tumbling Club. He started coaching in 2014, and has since coached the full range of age, skill level, and style of gymnastics, tumbling, cheer, and ninja.
Fun Fact: Braden lived in Philadelphia for 9 months attending a professional circus training school.
Katie started at BOOST in 2023, coming from a competitive gymnastics background and bringing her knowledge and skill sets to the competitive Team here at BOOST. She is a former Level 10 Gymnast and was a USA Gymnastics Judge from 2015-2017. Katie's favorite thing about coaching is helping kids push themselves to reach new goals and develop confidence in themselves and their abilities.
Fun Fact: Katie loves reptiles and has two lizards!
Camden began at BOOST as a Preschool Gymnastics Coach in 2022. Camden's background working with children started in 2018 as a camp counselor. Since then, he has held various jobs working with children, such as youth director, instructor for an after-school program, and finally preschool teacher. Camden graduated from Mississippi State with a Bachelor's in History in 2021, and now shares his talent for working with little ones with all of our gymnastics families!
Fun Fact: Camden went hiking for two weeks through the New Mexico wilderness at Philmont Ranch.
Tyler has been leading the After School and Camp programs at BOOST since 2018. As the oldest of 14 grandchildren in his family, Tyler takes naturally to caring for young ones. He is a Bellevue local and is passionate about serving families in the community. Tyler thoroughly enjoys having kids begin at BOOST in Kindergarten, being a part of their journey all the way through fifth grade, and knowing he has had a positive effect in their childhood journey. Tyler's favorite part of his job is knowing that he can change a kid’s day, week, month, year, or LIFE in a positive way in just a few hours.
After School BOOST & Camp Administrative Coordinator
Alyssa has been employed at BOOST since 2019 and has worked in every department! Before beginning her career here, Alyssa was a competitive cheerleader for 12 years, competing nationally in high school and in college at UT Martin. There she held a Dance major, having danced for 15 years and training in all styles of dance. Alyssa also enjoyed nine years of gymnastics training, including time here at Westside Athletics and in the early years of BOOST Gymnastics! It was during this time that she decided to begin coaching. Alyssa's experience includes not only coaching a high school cheer team, but also many years of babysitting and working with children. She has always loved being surrounded by kids because of growing up surrounded by her 45 cousins! Now, in addition to Administrative Coordinator for After School and Camps, Alyssa currently heads up the Kids' Night Out program, coaches the upper-level Tumble classes in the Rec Gymnastics program, and coaches competitive Team groups as well. What she loves most about what she does is the connection she makes with her athletes and getting to be the coach she always wanted.
Fun Fact: Alyssa is so obsessed with Disney that she named her dog Disney.
Lisa has been with BOOST since 2019. She is currently a Rec Gymnastics Coach as well as the Party Director. Lisa has coached a variety of sports for over 25 years, from competitive travel ball to training facilities to school sports. Athletics played a very important role in her life from a young age; it taught her many life lessons as well as how to train her body. Lisa loves to help others, and she is able to bring this to her daily life, whether at BOOST, her other job at QNTM Fit Life, or just in day-to-day events. She loves seeing people excel and hit their goals, making her favorite thing about working at BOOST the moment when a child finally excels at a skill that they have been working on.
Fun Fact: Lisa has been a private trip planner for festivals, working for artists to plan album release parties, live performances, and more.
Veronica officially came on board with BOOST in 2022. Prior to her customer care role, Veronica served as the nanny for the Crady family, caring for the Executive Director's daughters! Working with children has always been at the center of what she does. Veronica has nannied and tutored children since 2014, and she previously worked as an administrative assistant at a fitness studio. She most loves getting to know all of the BOOST families and watching their children grow and learn.
Fun Fact: Veronica moved to Nashville to work on music, and she put out her first album in 2022!
Chris started at BOOST in 2023, first working with the After School and Camp programs.He grew up in Bellevue which made it easy for him to find his way to BOOST!
Chris studied Business at Belmont University, graduating in 2020. He spent a lot of time working with kids in youth ministry, recognizing a passion for the difference the smallest of interactions can make in a kid's life. His hope is to try to be the person he needed when he was that age. Chris loves his job in staff recruitment because he is able to help people find great fits with their work that better serve the kids! Outside of work, you can find him watching the Philadelphia Eagles play, listening to the Grateful Dead, or playing basketball.
Fun Fact: Chris has slept in a hammock for about three years.
Grace joined the team at BOOST in 2020, first working with campers and customer care before moving to an administrative role. After graduating from Belmont University with a Bachelor's in Fine Arts, Grace held many positions in early childhood education, leading to her role as Assistant Director in a local preschool. From there, her love for children and zeal for administration led her to BOOST. She has thrived in the fun, energetic atmosphere and constant challenges of her daily work. Serving families, supporting her BOOST coworkers, and loving the Lord is what keeps her going!
Fun Fact: Grace was an Army brat, so she has moved 17 times and lived in 11 different cities, including Heidelberg, Germany!
